Most of what I’ve learned about photography has been through friends, frequent trips to the city library, and browsing instructional books and magazines at local bookstores. The process of capturing momentary beauty, human interest, and emotion is still fairly new to me. Yet I feel like it’s been inside my heart forever, and its now grown into a lifelong interest and challenge for me.
Like the hand-drawn sketches and paintings I worked on in my earlier years, the images within this site include events, people, places, and special moments that have silently spoken to me, almost asking me to be photographed. Each opportunity provides a great feeling of satisfaction, fulfillment, and enduring inspiration. After viewing, it’s my hope some of them will speak to you,
and perhaps move you in the very same way.
